Reach

State wide program includes Hotels, Restaurants and retail shops (Art’s & Crafts, Mexican Furniture, Jewelry) located in tourist areas.

Agencies Involved

• Baja California State Secretariat of Tourism: Directs the program and verifies four fundamental aspects: Service / Safety / Normativity Compliance and Installations.
• Baja California State Health Secretariat: Verifies hotels and restaurants in aspects such as: Physical and sanitary installations / Food handling / Water quality in food processing and consumption / Hotel pools / Sanitary certifications of food headlining staff and practices.
• Federal Agency of Consumer Affairs: Verifies Commercial history and business practices.
• Convention and Visitor Bureaus and Local Tourism Organizations: Validates new establishments to the program.
